UNFPA Family Hygiene kits were distributed to 1,500 refugee families in Ankara

ANKARA (9 August 2017) - Hacettepe University Women’s Research and Implementation Center (HÜKSAM) organized a distribution of UNFPA Hygiene kits to approximately 1,500 mainly Syrian and Iraqi refugee families in Ankara.

Thanks to the support of health mediators who are acting as bridges between WGSS centers and the refugee population in the area, HUKSAM was able to reach out the refugee communities in the area to hand out the UNFPA Family Hygiene Kits.
